Marlene has been sick for the last week. It has also been quite dreary and
rainy here in Charlotte. Today was the first day we could get her out when it
was not freezing cold and wet. We went to what is becoming our weekend
walking place McAlpine Creek Park and Greenway.

We ran across the back near the swampy area of the park. We had seen a beaver swimming in the lake earlier and we bet he/she did this work. |

Marlene's baking area. She made a really good buttermilk Chicken dish tonight. I just wish it had not come from Martha Stewart. Yummy though |
