We decided to head downtown. The Charlotte Trolley is run by a
non-profit organisation and runs from Charlotte's south end to what will
eventually be the "Uptown Arena" in Downtown Charlotte. Eventually the
trolley lines will be converted into a light rail line that runs from I-485 to
downtown (uptown to the locals) Charlotte.
Later that evening we went to a dinner at Debbie and Dan's
house. Marlene got to see some old friends and meet new ones.

The trolley line has been shortened due to some design errors at the Westin hotel. The repairs should be finished end of October. |
