Pictures from the honeymoon

We went out to Vancouver Island for our honeymoon and stayed at the Point-no-Point resort in Sooke, BC.  To get to the island you need to take a 1 1/2 hour ferry ride.  Sooke is just 30 minutes from Victoria, which is the capital of BC.  We stopped in Victoria on Friday for a little bit of tourist fun before driving up to Nanaimo to visit with Carlos and Anne (Marlene's brother) and then taking the ferry home.  We highly recommend the resort in Sooke, we had our own little cabin with a loft bedroom, fireplace, hot-tub on the balcony with an amazing view.  No phones,  no TV, just peace and tranquility.

Fireplace in the cabin. They brought wood every day. Sean loved this. We did roast some pretty yummy marshmallows in here one night.

The loft bedroom. At 5'9 in the centre, with an angled roof it was a little awkward to move around without hitting your head on a beam.

We had a lovely relaxing hot-rock massage done. The Victoria Wellness Spa does house visits.

We had dinner at Sooke Harbour House, which is world-renowned for its gourmet meals.
