Project 3: "Texture in photographs"

Texture is the visual interpretation of the tactile surface characteristics of objects. Strong texture in pictures helps to form part of the two dimensional illusion of reality.

Texture is the quality of an object's surface, and shows you what it is and adds a tactile quality to a photograph.

Unfortunately, it rained part of the weekend.  This prevented me from getting some of the shots to match the ones in the book. I will update this next weekend when I can get the third shot.

1/320 F11 ISO 1600 80 MM.  I know that the ISO setting is too high. 1/25 F9 ISO 100 28 MM 1/50 F4.5 ISO 100 38MM

I am  not so sure how these did in relation to the project, but they do scream "texture."

All of the above pictures were shot with a Sigma 28-80f3.5-56.6 Macro lens.
