Shutter Speed

Shutter speed can be used to control light in an image. It can also be used to free motion.  Here are some examples of shutter speed used to control how an image is displayed

 

This was shot with my Sigma Macro 28-80. 1/32 at F32. You can see how the water show fluid motion in the shot. Here is the same picture set at 1/1000 at F7.1.  Notice how the water droplets are frozen in the picture.
